Ideally, stumps should be removed as soon as possible after tree removal. Waiting allows pests like termites, carpenter ants, and fungus to move in, and the longer a stump sits, the harder (and costlier) it can become to remove later.

Typically, we grind stumps appx 4 - 6 inches below ground level, allowing easy grass or landscaping installation afterward. If deeper grinding is required for construction or planting larger trees, just let us know!
